I'm Onyedika Paul — I didn't take the traditional route. No CS degree, no bootcamp, no shortcuts. I learned by doing — by taking on real clients, hitting real problems, and figuring it out under pressure.
That means the code I write isn't tutorial code. It's been stress-tested in production, debugged at midnight, and delivered to people who were counting on it.
Based in Nigeria, working fully remote, and selectively taking on projects where I can actually move the needle — not just fill a seat.
My journey
2021
The beginning
Opened a code editor for the first time. No degree, no bootcamp — just curiosity, YouTube, and a stubborn refusal to quit.
2022
First paying client
Someone trusted me with real money for real work. I delivered a full web app end-to-end and never looked back.
2023
Deep in the real world
Built banking platforms, courier dashboards, and delivery tracking systems for actual businesses with actual users. No tutorials — just pressure and solutions.
2024
Levelling up the stack
Expanded into Next.js, PostgreSQL, and SaaS architecture. Started thinking less like a freelancer and more like a product engineer.
2025
Open for the right work
Currently taking on freelance projects and open to full-time remote roles. I'm not chasing any job — I'm looking for work that's worth building.
